布莱恩·巴恩斯

布莱恩·C. 巴恩斯 joined the Loyola faculty in 2010 to assume the role of Deputy Director of the 法律 图书馆. In 2013, he was appointed as Interim 法律 图书馆 Director and named as Director in 2017. Professor 巴恩斯 was previously at Mississippi College School of 法律 for five years in multiple positions at the law library and taught Legal Research. While at Mississippi College he co-created the the Mississippi College Judicial Data Project.

Professor 巴恩斯 is active in the American Association of 法律 Libraries, has served as President of the 新奥尔良 Association of 法律 Libraries and the Central Mississippi 图书馆 Council, Chair of the ABA Legal 教育 Police Practices Consortium Librarian Working Group, was Editor of the Southeastern Chapter American Association of 法律 Libraries (SEAALL) 新闻letter for four years, and has served on the boards of the AJCU Conference of 法律 Libraries and the Society of Academic 法律 图书馆 Directors. He has presented at CLE's by NBI, Loyola University 新奥尔良, Mississippi College, and the Mississippi Prosecutor's Conference, and he has presented at conferences including the SEAALL Annual Conference and the Southwestern Association of 法律 Libraries (SWALL) Annual Conference. 

He is licensed to practice law before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern & Southern Districts of Mississippi, and all state courts in Alabama and Mississippi. 

Professor 巴恩斯 teaches the 3-credit hour experiential course, Advanced Legal Research, and in the Loyola skills program.
